PROJECT 03 // HARDWARE PROTOYPE

Automated Factory Logistics

Autonomous line-following robotics prototype simulating automated guided vehicles (AGVs) in smart warehouses using pure analog circuitry.

Circuit Architecture

Instantaneous Transistor Decision Routing

The system demonstrates physical path tracing without microcontrollers or firmware. By eliminating digital clock cycles and operating via instantaneous transistor logic, it simulates the foundational mechanical and electrical principles behind automated material transport in smart manufacturing facilities.

The “Sense - Think - Act” Circuit Principle

1. Sense

Optical IR sensor pairs continuously register contrast shifts between dark pathway tape and the floor surface.

2. Think (Analog)

Sensor outputs feed directly into transistor switching circuits and 5V relays, executing hardware-level decision routing.

3. Act

Relays toggle dual TT motors independently, applying differential steering corrections to remain centered on path.
